INTENSYON: Ikatlong Kabanata, Outbound

[Writer's Note: This entry does not mean to inflict any harm to anyone. This is based on true events so anything that you may find may be offensive. If you don't want to continue, don't read from this point on.]

Kailangan gawin mo to pero dapat hindi from the book. Nakakalito 'no?

Nightfall came at doon nagstart ang aming "outbound training".

Iyung iba hinde nila trip ang matulog eh kaya up till the dusk of dawn ay gising pa rin sila. May nagyosi sa labas, may nag-inuman sa loob and vice-versa.

I don't like what I'm seeing kasi I look up to Senpai and Carol (yeah, they smoke and drink).

In general naman, nagustuhan ko iyung out-of-town namin pero I just really hope that people like Senpai should uphold, with utmost dedication, their roles as models for us members of the orgs.

Enter the J-POD!

Wehehehehe! At long last, the most and long-awaited endless wait of all is over. I have in the palm of mah hands my one own I-POD Nano!! It's a dream made in heaven! Oh yeah! I'm so happy happy!

Well okay, that's too much loving. I've been waiting since August to have my own I-pod so now that I have one, I'm totally speechless!

My ninang who is based in Long Beach, CA bought this I-POD Nano for my 17th birthday but it was only last November when one of our relatives who lives with Ninang came home with a lot of pasalubongs plus my special gift. Base sa resibo na kasama sa I-Pod na yan, it was bought from Costco costing around US$212 (around not exact). If I were to bought one from here, it'd probabaly cost around Php10,000.00 around the same cost as my new Samsung phone.

From its first day of usage, I had 26 songs inserted into it, 14 from my "dramaholic" soundtrack CD volume 1. The next day, I admitted up to 30 more songs from my little brother's collection plus from my own music files, totalling up to 58 songs. Yesterday, I included many songs from Utada Hikaru's Exodus album plus a lot more which had my I-Pod carrying more than 80 songs. Other than that, I also added songs from my friend's multiply accounts like Linkin Park, Solja Boy, and a whole lot more. I plan to have more from the many CDs we have around this house so that I can make use of my IPod's 8 GB memory.

Did I just said "Nano"? Unlike the other Nano models, mine's wider with functions similar to an Ipod Video. It has games, and extras. I'm not sure if it's a newly-updated model but the important thing is, I'm no longer alien to my siblings who all have Ipods of their own.

I want to diversify the kind of music that I want to hear from my I-Pod that's why I'm incorporating songs not only from the Anime/Jpop variety as well as songs that you may find corny but also songs from different musical genres like RnB, Ballads, Rock, etc.

At the very least, I don't have to use my brain as an mp3 player and uncontrollably lip syncing as I do that. I don't have to be bored whenever I hitch a ride at the LRT as I have something to keep my occupied. hehehe.

Oh my gosh, I have an I-POD!!! I HAVE A FREAKIN' !@#$%^&* I-POD! AHHHHHH!

The DV1 BioClips: All About DV1 Part 1

Part 1 of 4

This is the opening credits of my farewell movie to DV1.

Buhay Kolehiyo

Tomas. In the end, sa CSB na ako napadpad, whcich is really not that bad. Bakit?

It's not as easy once you're in it.

Maayos naman ang academics ko as far as I'm concerned.

The CSB Experience: May 23-December 21 (We Are Still ONE, DV1)

How time flies! The end of the second term is finally getting nearer by the day and many are looking forward to get a long deserving break this Christmas so that by January 7, we could all look forward to the impending arrival of the third and final term of the school. Unfortunately for this writer, it also means that it's going to be the end of the block section that unlike any other: DV1.

We've been through a lot for the past seven months. I could still remember when we had our first fateful meeting as a section way back in May 23, a Wednesday. We don't know each other except for those who came from the same school, particularly Tina, Jico, Gilbert, Alyssa, Czarlene who all came from CSA. Sheena came from Kuwait, Geric and Joaqui are from Iloilo, while Ferdie and company from the south. Marlon, and I came from schools administered by the same congregation of sisters but there was this time that I unknowingly took a shot of him during the DAOP Palad last February.

We were all quiet. Not a word coming from our mouths. It was only through the Fab 4: Kath, JV, Reybop, and Blue that we were able to form an initial bond as a class. Later on, we became noisy children, talking and talking, sharing thoughts, sharing pain, sharing laughter, and sharing anything less than perfect. I still remember, I became class rep all because of Ferdie. Sir Gepsych was asking then who was our class rep, Ferdie raised his hand and pointed at me, waghhh! I also remember Gilbert's grand entrance on the first day of class. He was late and it was from him that made us very lively throughout the lifespan of the block section. No doubt about it.

I also remember how Sheena popularized the word "Brinjal". I don't know what happend exactly but it was during Filip11 that Brinjal became a byword in DV1. First bonding time was during our very first Ordev event, the Frosh Night while the teacher "most disliked" was Sir Natsca (why so? Hmmm..).

There wer times that our differences had ovecome us, such when there was a heated online war of words between this writer and two other people, indiretly hitting Sheena and company. there weren't exactly any straight-at-the-face apologies but the friction is still there. I'm already keeping my mouth zipped to the two of them so as to not ignite another war except if I have to (like asking for paper or anything else). The consequence perhaps is the treatment whcih is downright downright (can't say exaclty), but I'll let things cool off for now.

Formation of groups have caused division within the section, like a sort of iron curtain but still bound of being a block. There's the group of Ferdie and friends (at the west side), the group of Hoogie and company (Northwest), the Brinjals (East), the three Gals (between hoogie and company and Ferdie and friends), and the others at the back. I've also noticed the rise, fall and formation of relationships (no need to elaborate), as well as the clash of culture of who knows and who doesn't.

It's kind of sad really that we have to part ways so soon, I mean, the block have been in existence for two/thirds of the entire school year and it'll all be disappeared like that. That's college all right, but if I have my way,  there ought to be a system to let us stay together, but that'd be impossible.

Thanks DV1 for giving me and the rest of us the best 7 motnhs we have as college students. Even if you're gone, the feeling is still there. For we believe that no other section is nothing like DV1 for DV1 IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER. Because if we are, then that is soooo fetch!
