Energy Saving Tips This Summer To Cool Off the Heat

1. Instead of using a fridge, place all of your soda cans outside in your balcony if you have one at dusk and have them stayed there the whole night. In the end, you can have ice-cold sodas right at youy balcony. The best months to place them there is from the months of September to early June at the Western adn Northern Hemisphere. Plus, you place of residence must have a temperate climate.

2. Do all your heavy household chores in the morning as early as six and then do the light ones for the rest of the day. After all that, take a really cold shower to take all that stress off your workload. Once you are squeeky clean, take a afternoon nap, turn the electrixc fan as high as 3 and make your well-deserve siesta for the rest of daytime hours. Estimated time for you to wake up is 6 pm. just be careful not to take you naps seriously as it may hinder you sleep cycle at night. You don't have to use an aircon since you'll be using an energy saving e-fan. but if your npot satisfied at having an e-fan, use the tradition abaniko to suit you satisfaction.

3. Don't watch TV nor use the family PC 5he whole day, it emits heat and adds the humidity of the room especially at the day's most humid time. LImit your usage and make the afternoon you siesta time.

4. If you wanna go to the great outdoors, walk you way there instead of using any forms of tranportation, especially if the nearest resort is just right next door. but if you wanna go 65 miles away from your house, take passage on someone else's vehicle to get you there to save money.

5. Instead of watching TV or using a PC, why not isten to a radio. For FM, i recomend the following: RJ 100.3 (The latest and greatest), 106.3 WRock, WRR 101.9 For Life!, Manila's Comfortable Choice 106.7 Dream FM, Magic 89.9, Wave 88.9,  and iFM. for AM: DZMM 630, DWWW 774, DZRH, etc.

Paglalaba, atbp.

As of this writing, i'm waiting for my first batch of dirty laundry to be dryed gy our washing machine and have them hang (sampay) by my bunso. After that, ill thake my next batch to have it washed then later my last batch plus the handwashables still in my room.

I can't get the picture why some of my friends seems astonished whenever i say that i can do laundry (e.g. "Marunong akong maglaba ng mga deputi, dekolor, atskaa magwalis...". Add to their atonishent that i can actually do household chores.

surprising really but it seems that, if my theory is right, these guys don't know how to do household chores (gawaing bahay) and must be living a life of luxury, and that their household needs are met by their household helper aka the maid or katulong or alalay, or tsimay.

Katulong is the Tagalog word for helper while alalay is for assistant. there are no clear differences among the two except that katulong  sonds more inferior and negative espeically if we pinpouint it to maids.

These guys really don't seem to care if their own classroom are clean. take this example from one time when i was still in high school (NAKS!). I was the only one sweeping the floors, wiping the dirt of the whiteboards, taking chalk off the eraser, organizing chairs and it seems no one in my monitorial groups don't seem to care cleaningnthe house. they just let their friends inside the classroom, chat and making messes out from eating candy, chips, and the like.

surely, they dont even know how to fold clothes, hahahahaha. oph well, karma will get after them sooner or later.

ok, got to go now, my laundry seems finsihed. better hang them up at our rooftop

My Thesis, Forever It Will No Longer Handed Back To Me

Last March 30th, it was the final final day of school. It was treated in two ways by two groups of students respecitvely: 1) it is celbrated as a temporary freedom given to undergrads so that they will have the grand time of their lives not obliged to follow the directives of the school for only at least two months, and 2) the day that the graduates will final end their more than 4 years to more than a decade facing the harsh realities of the socio-political utopia that is Saint James Academy.

Well, it was also the day where we can get our grad pics, with our final report card ( i never get to read it whole since i gave it to the Admissions of CSB a day later), and the well-sought after alumni cards (plus my unexpected Conduct Award), and of course my most awaited items, my thesis and my final copy of the VOX: the voice with a sense of vision and mission.

ever since my sister brought home the first vox copy when she was still a student there 8 years ago (that time I was still studying at SMMC in valenzuela), i have long dreamt of becoming one of the elite squad of staffwriters and cartoonists and editors that many Jamers had long admired. Although i failed  to become one for out of the 2 times i tried out, it was a privilege for me to become a contributing writer for them. I wrote this article about my experience in my first TKD tourney but one of the editors failed to have it on print so she promised me that it will be read by the public eyes of the student body on its year-ender issue.

three months later, after the waiting and the praying, i finally got to see my article printed on the 3 to the last page of the last VOX issue of the year. Before i got a copy, Shielo shared to me (as Filipino-language editor and all), my work was worth one whole page! wow! I'm worth a page, that's so awesome! yup, that was but that is not all! Miss Flores told me she was impressed with my work that she gave me a cmplimentary copy for my parents and another one for my sister! wow, how cool was that?

Speaking of Miss Flores, i was looking for her so that i can ask her if i can have my thesis back. Angelito had already hold back the release of our theses a couple of times or so and there no next tiome for that. she told me to wait, and when the time came, i went inside the RDC, ask her if i can get it. She asked me what was the clor code of my section, i said pink but i told her that mine was "Blue". Miss Joan was like "Oh! Jaime" and i was like "okay, I'll look for it".

evenetually, i remembered it was not blue but, of course the most obvious color of all, GREEN! i was surpirsed to see that the grade that Miss Flores gave to me was *drumroll*......................................................................................................................................................................

90%
90%
90%
90%
90%

Yahoo!

I was surprise so I was like "Oh, What the How!? A NINETY?!".
i was reayd to take it away but Miss Joan stopped and toldf me that since it got a ninety, it will included in the leauge of past theses that will be displayed in the library. WOW, what a great honor for me. After all the sleepless nihts and the sleepless nights that my mom took to help me edit my works, luck finally rained down on me.

My thesis is now the third one made by a Habitan to receice a 90+ grade and wasnever returned to its owner. i just hope that my bunso will do the same to his thesis 2 years after.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I LOVE YOU THESIS!!!!!!!!!

Mayo uno es el día de nuestro viaje a Ilocos Norte (读这赞成?)

わかりました、今それは確認される: であるその日(そうでなかったらすべて) 行く決定するSibucao

ok, now it is confirmed: the first of may will be the day that the whole Sibucao clan (if not all) will go to their ancestral domain in Ilocos Norte. It will be the second time that I went there since the summer of 2005.

Surely, we will all be staying in Curemao just miles away from the Sibucao homeland of Batac.

However, the week following May 1 will also be the week of the enrollment period for freshman applicants in Benilde. May 2 is the specified date of enrollment for those taking Multimedia Arts. However, if ever the trip will go on, i have no chioice but to enroll on the last day of enrollment with the other freshmen from other courses.

hope it will push through!!!
