It was last year, May 23, 2007 where I first met and talked to a fellow 107 MMA frosh. I remember we were seating next to each other while the frosh orientation was about to commence. Ever since my block was called out, the last thing I did was waved her goodbye. I remember the meeting I could no longer recall her face. I already said to myself that I may never get to see her for a very long time given the circumstances hehe. The only thing that will m ake me recognize hern is that she's from Oman, attended Philippine School-Oman and that she was telling me about something concerning DLSU.
Fast-forward to June 11, 2008. BASICOM class had just ended and me and classmates were about to return our borrowed laptops to the AV Room at the 10th floor of SDA. While there, many fo us were talking about animes aired when we were young. Then one of them said, "The first anime that I watched was 'Samurai X'...". We were like "What? 'Samurai X"?" yeah, I was surprised too. Asked why she didn't watched anime earlier than that, knowing that Samurai X was aired way when I was like 10 years old. Prior to that, they were a lot of animes that were shown like Gatekeepers, Akazukin Cha Cha, Bubu Chacha, etc.
She answered something like "Ah, we don't have ABS nor GMA in Oman". I never heard her say Oman the first time but she reiterated it that she was from Oman. "Oman?" I said. Something just came in my mind that time --->*"Oman?"*<---. I'd be a fool if I don't ask her this, so I was like "You wouldn't happen to be from Philippine School, would you?". "Yeah!".
And it all came together, 'I think I know you...from the Frosh Orientation?". Looks like I wasn't the only one, "Yeah, I remember your face from somewhere..".
Wow! It's been a long time but who could've guessed that were classmates in 2 classes (the other one was Joseriz)? Who would have knew, 'no?
