The Dark Knight

Rating:★★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Action & Adventure
I made it a point not to read any reviews about the Dark Knight coming out from newspapers to those coming from blogs so as not to spoil myself of what the movie has in store. Last night I was able to watch The Dark Knight in Trinoma (Wow sosyal!)

I failed to watch the first film, "Batman Begins", so I supposed that the 2nd picks up where the first left off. You kinda have this feeling that it ain't starting out right with all the conflict already building up from there.

The presence of the Joker have left an important imprint to the movie. It was never stated in the film on how he started his activities but you could tell that unlike the Jokers of past Batman films and animated cartoon series (the latest being "The Batman"), he is a villain like no other.

Unlike most villains who do their thing just for the money and those do it for revenge's sake, this particular Joker doesn't have a reason for him to do evil (maybe the fact that he is a near-psychotic would probably help us explain it). He orchestrates his villainous activities as part of his larger social experiment. He has this certain charisma that could manipulate a lot of people that even up to the most non-corruptible people, he could really bring them down. Heath Ledger's Joker has a knack with one liners, and one that could probably become an all-time classic is when he said to Batman "You complete me...".

And that brings us to Harvey Dent a.k.a Two-Face. If we have Crisostomo Ibarra/Simoun in the Rizal novels, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, so does that Batman universe. Harvey represents the basic rules of life: Everything's fair. He depended so much in chances that he never realized that all the good that he did was because he did it himself (with the help of Commissioner Gordon and gal pal Bruce Wayne). Grieving by the death of his one true love Rachel (who had a past with Bruce), Joker took this opportunity to manipulate Harvey's thoughts while he is at his most wrecked state (literally), and from the goody-risk taker that is Harvey came out the chance-dependent-obsessed Two-Face. As Two-Face, he wants everything to be fair and square, even out the odds per say, which drove him to near insanity.

A tragic character really as he never knew that not everything happens in chances, he could not save Rachel either as she made her choice to die for him. the funny thing though is that he became Two-Face for a day and for that particular day, he already sported his signature Two-Face suit. Hilarious!

Second in the crime-busting triumvirate is Commissioner Jim Gordon. He goes by law and is very dedicated to his job to clean the streets of Gotham from crime. As it is in the original comic books, he works as an able ally to Batman. Even though he play by the rules stated in the book and that the Batman is a wanted vigilante who must face the Law eventually, he believes that he [Batman] is the symbol of hope to the city. Batman, for him, is what urges the rightful enforcers of the law to protect the city in the public interest, a sort of alarm clock.

I was very much surprised that Jim died early in the film but it was such foolishness of a viewer that had us very much surpised again to see him all alive and well. His family were also given emphasis but my only question is that, why did the film focused too much on his son and less so to his supposed-famous daughter (who would become Batgirl)? I wished they could have switched parts.

Third is, of course, Bruce Wayne. He is quite the perky guy with all his intelligent humor brought by his conversations with Alfred the butler and his right-hand man (played by Morgan Freeman). Christopher Bale made a very good impression on being emo Bruce especially when he knew that he cannot rekindle his supposed romance with childhood friend Rachel. What really turns me off, is that whenever he dons his Batman costume he sported a husky and disgruntled voice as if something big smacked his face outrighta nd somehow deformed his mouth even in actuality he doesn't. He sounds cool whenever he speaks as Bruce Wayne but really does he really have to hide his voice whenever he's Batman? Geez....

Production-wise, impressive take on making New York look a lot like Gotham City. When it comes to musical scoring, it goes well into the ever-changing mood of the movie. If you know the part where Joker was in a huge truck and was chasing after a SWAT van, with Harvey in it, right in the middle of a freeway; there was no music coming out from the background whatsoever, just the sound of destroyed cars and exploding helicopters which is really such a thrill ride for the viewer.

One inaccuracy I observed is the mentioning of how many people died during the earlier stages of Joker's orchestrated plan. Several characters mentioned 5 people died and was till five all throughout the film but one particular character (where he was guarding the interrogation room with Joker in it), answered 6 when Joker asked how many people died earlier.

Moral of the story, given the kind of social experiment the Joker used to make people kill each other, he still failed. On the part where he planted bombs in two ferries (one with civilians and other other with criminals), he gave the people of both ferries a chance to live by giving them each a remote that could trigger a bomb planted in the other ferry. The civilians wanted the criminals in the other ferry to die to pay for their sins and that "they passed on their chance to live their lives in peace". They never did. They realized that by blowing up that ferry, they are no different to the "criminals" they accused them of. On the other ferry, the big guy in the orange jumpsuit took the remote and threw it away believing that as much as they wanna live, they would never risk their chance to lead a second chance in life.

As much as I wanna give a perfect five, I have to give it a four given the inaccuracies shown in the movie.

The CSB Experience 2: 'Until then I'll sleep'

Rivermaya's "Sleep"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=EAyM4oSpdHU

Tonight's the first night
You're no longer in my arms
A little colder
Nothing but the darkness and the stars

My hand wanders through
The space where you used to be
I really wish that you'd
Still come home to me

Until then I'll sleep
Sleep.

Remember yesterday
When your smile filled every room
Imagined forever with you
Now you're gone too soon

I can feel you calling
There's no place that I'd rather be
Just here with you, sleeping
If only in my mind

Until then I'll sleep
Sleep.

I can feel you calling
There's no place that I'd rather be
Just here with you, sleeping
If only in my mind

Until then I'll sleep
Sleep.
-----------

Well okay...The past few blog posts written by my contacts are all about them having little or no sleep at all eh this one is no different. It's a common phenomenon among collegians if you ask me.

Given that I have a very morning-friendly schedule, I have the privilege of watching late night shows. On average I usually sleep at around 11:00-11:30 pm right after I finish watching Seikei Bijin on ABS-CBN but it also depends if there are other shows worthy for me to watch until 12:30 at most.

I wake up as early as 6 am and as late as 9 am during Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays (but not 9 am), Fridays and Saturdays. But during class, I have the tendency to fall asleep too if my classes start to get boring or the weight of having to go to and from SDA and Main is taking a toll on me.

My Wednesday schedule could be my longest day 12 hours straight from 8 am to 8 pm (my class starts at 9 but I'm at school as early as 7.30 or 8) so super antok na ako habang pauwi pa lang. What's worse though that it coincides with me taking my my turn on washing the night's dishes (Which I do before going to sleep).

In the case of Thursday, it's the day where my class ends at 5:50 in the afternoon (back in the day I have 3 days worth of classes ending at 5:50pm). The moment I got home, I go straight to my bedroom, changing to house clothes and 'derecho higa sa kama' and take a nap for up to 2 hours at the very least.

Back in high school, because of the homework overweight that I receive from my teachers almost every single day of the school year, there are instances that I would give in and let myself take a much-needed break by really falling myself into sleep whenever I get home, from arriving from school at 5pm, I went straight to bed only to wake up the next day! Hahaha, hilarious!

That's life. Still take naps in the afternoon, usually during weekends and when I have free days. Until then I'll sleep.

Narrow-Mindedness

I'm very disappointed when I heard news about the Catholic Church's opposition to proposals made by several members of the house of representatives which are aim to give Filipino families access to reproductive health facilities, alternative forms of family planning and introduction of sex education to schools as earluy as the 5th grade. They [CBCP] came up with the conclusion that these are anti-life and pro-abortion. And I was like "WHAT THE #$%%?!" How low can they get! What's worse though is that there are bishops who plan (and had already done) to excommunicate those who support the cause.

Ah, okay. Let's take things into perspective: What part of "reproductive health" don't they get? I go for the health group's side for which they believe that a lot of people wants to have access to proper reproductive health but don't have the means to do so.

Yes, abortion is a sin and it is illegal in the Philippines but abortion is not synonimous to reproductive health, LOLz. Just think, there are women who have difficulty carrying an unborn child and are extremely expose to dangers relating to reproductive health. That's why it's no question that maternity deaths are on the rise no matter the circumstances are. there are even situations where the lives of both the mother and her child are at risk with a 50-50 chance from either one of them to live.

On alternative family planning, condoms and contraceptives may be a good thing if they are used for the right reasons. The belief of conservatives is that at this present state of time, the youth of today are teased or drawn to the the temptations of having pre-marital sex so they often buy condoms to prevent anything "bloomy" to happen. Natural family planning i'm not against for but I think a perfect solution to the worries of the Church is that there ought to be proper regulation to the sale of condoms especially in convenience stores where kids could buy this things.

On vasectomy and the like, like I said, they are no forms of abortions dsiguised in different names. If I remember it right when I watched about it on TV, vasectomy is a safe family planning method wherein whether a family decided not to have much children, the father would undergoe this procedure. It merely prevents the "thing" to go the "thing" or something like that. Then again, families have the option to do it or not. I think the reason why a lot of families have too much children is because they lack basic access to these family planning methods. but it is my belief that a couple may have as many children as long as they are well-able to provide basic necessities for them to support their kids. Middle-class families are a good examples of these kind of method since it helps them financially and spiritually. There should be information campaigns with regards to population control and family planning.

Now on sex ed being taught of schools. I think the reason why the Church strongly opposes this is because they believe that children might get encouraged to do sex, so on and so forth.

Okay, this one is from experience. When I was still studying overseas (Grade 5), the school where I attend to would have an annual "sex ed" week wherein we'd be given the low-down on the secrets of how our bodies work. These were applied not just in grade school but also to the adjoining school pyramid. Though technically it is sex ed, they are called under the name "Family Life Education".

FLE week on the 5th grade. We'd be rounded up and have ourselves sit on the classroom floor to watch a video about our reproductive system on TV. Included in the package is the dangers of peer pressure and the evil that is smoking. Reason why it wasn't called "sex education" is that FLE is not just about sex but everything that may have an impact to family development. The topics varies with the point of all of these gbeing taught on higher years. Basically, that's sex ed to us, as simple as that. LOLz

I wonder why they are so close-minded towards this matter. The national population is already nearing 90 million in a matter of months and teenage pregnancies becoming more and more of the norm. Poverty is making matters worse as peace and order are on the rocks, with children out-of-school and becoming beggars at such an early age.

Yes, there may be abuses if ever those bills may get passed into laws but how would it change the situation if efforts to pass them are prevented by people who are so narrow-minded and never seeing the whole gravity of the situation. They even use their authority just to stop statesmen who are adherents to the faith form continuing their cause. Ahh. life!

The CSB Experience 2: LRT Jam Late @ 10 with Bus

Abopt hanggang KFC.

As of last night may usok pa ring lumalabas sa Puregold.

The CSB Experience 2: The TM2 Meeting

Last Wednesday, nagkaroon uli ng meeting ang org ko with regards tungkol sa upcoming teambuilding namin na gagawin sa Kawit, Cavite (First time ba? Saya!).

I'm hoping that this hype would be enough for them to stay active, lalo pa't JV thought of ways to keep them this way by announcing about helping out for the teambuilding as well as joining annual events like the upcominig Graphika Manila (which I plan to attend this year), so on and so forth.

So I guess good luck na lang!

The CSB Experience 2: My Concept of JoseRiz Finals Project ~slash~ Movie (Possible)

Title: The Pepe de Manila Travelogue
Format: Documentary/Photo Slideshow Movie

Places to go to: UST, Intramuros, Sta. Cruz, Fort Santiago, Paco Park, Luneta Park, Avenida Rizal

How: I need at least one or companions who can accompany me to these places. Since my camera is broken, manghihiram na lang ako ng camera niya.

---

I'd be narrating the movie as well as being responisble for editing, directing and the like.

The CSB Experience 2: Mga Batang Kalye ATBP (Inspired by a multiply blog)

A Reason Not to be Jealous, A Reason for Motivation

    [In discreet mode one again]

I've had this weekend activity (Cycling) for a long time now but because I'm too shy, I never get to socialize with people who goes to the park.

Now I saw this certain I knew from long way back and he's into this for at least three months but in that short span of time, he now know almost every person in the area. I suddenly have this feeling of envy and jealous because he's very sociable to the people around him while in my case, i tend to be quiet and do my own thing. I knew no one in the park so I wished that I could be like him, more open and less shy.

There's no reason for me to feel jealous, but a reason for me to be motivated, challenged and inspired to be more friendly and never get the shyness and nervousness get the best of me. If ever I could see that person again, I should thank him for giving me the inspiration to get out of my shell.

The CSB Experience: Lighter, Stable, Happier, Better

I've been planning to write about this for the longest time. Since I'm already in the middle of the first term, I could safely say that in comparison with my first term in Benilde, I feel a lot lighter with no long-term committments except for MMx. I get better sleep no matter how late the night is (because I no longer have 8 am morning classes). And I've never been this happier than my past 3 terms. So it means, this term's better than last year's.

Last term, I made myself pre-occupied with a lot of things in and out of school. For once, I tried my hand on debating by joining DebSoc, leading an already unruly block section as class president, and being a member of my MMA ord, Mediamax. Outside of school, I continued to do violin but was temporarily stalled because of scheduling conflicts.

The pressure of doing a lot of things at once already took a toll on me. Feeling stressed and sleepy, and getting into internal conflicts within my block, it's really  not working out for me.

On Debsoc, I have nothing but kind words to my former orgmates there because at least I learned a thing or two of being confidentnwhen I speak in public, etc. But due to personal problems (depression among others), I have to drop myself out ("Quitting"). No hard feelings really?

Violin has  been a part of my life when I first started out a few years ago. But given the difficulty of continuing it with much inconvenience with my schedule, I had no choice but to stop for the time being. I'm not sure if there'd be a chance that I would come back but time will only tell.

Today, I'm putting emphasis to MMx, as well as my studies. I just hope thenext two terms can be as friendly as this one. :):)

The CSB Experience 2: Sa Paghigpit ng Sinturon

The world is experiencing a global crisis: soaring oil prices, increasing food prices, prevalent food shortages, global warming, terrorism, eco-disasters, among others. In the Philippines alone, it is experiencing the brunt of this crisis: Close-minded politics, narrow-minded Church people (over population and political concerns that is), rice shortage, terrorism, ambitious yet unfinished infrastructure projects, and among others, the rising costs of education.

I consider myself as one of the lucky ones whose parents can afford to give their children education in all levels. Other than that, I'm lucky that my tuition comes from an insured educational plan coming from one of the most stable pre-plan insurance companies around (and I'm not talking about CAP). And that's the least of my worries.

Rising fuel costs prompted major transport groups to hike a petition for an increase in minimum fares. Recently, the LTFRB approved the petition raising the minium jeepney fare to Php8.50, a 100% increase from the now-previous fare of Php7.50. Students and senior citizens have the privilege of getting a 1.50 discount from the minimum fare thus we pay a minimum of 6 pesos with a Php0.50 increase per km after the 5th kilometer.

Now that the 8.50 minimum will take effect anytime now, i'll have to make a couple of sacrifices for me to save money. For once, I spend 10 pesos worth of a jeepney ride coming to and from Monumento (non-students pay Php11 for the same trip), about Php20 a day. Plus 15 pesos/ticket for my LRT ride (30 pesos a day). On average, I spend Php50 a day for my transportation expenses. I'm lucky if I have morning clases so that I get to hitch a ride to my ada's car or my mom's carpool, and if I have an extra 100 pesos for me to buy myself a stored value ticket (which would last for 3.5 days a week, boohoo). if the discount increased to become 7 pesos, that's a different story.

For my food necessities, I try my best to cut down from buying very expensive rice meals which ranges from Php55 to Php80, eating a large chunk of my lunchmoney (a minimum of Php500 a week with an additional 100-250 for Thursdays to Saturdays). I'm trying to spend my money on least-costly yet very fulfilling food orders like pasta (spaghetti, macaroni, etc.) and with occasional food drinks like C2, Fab, and mineral water.

I seldom buy food from Jollibee and McDonalds anymore now since they have raised the prices of their orders there. The problem that I have when it comes to food is that since most of classes are held inside the SDA building, I have no choice but to buy food in their caf. Everything there is pricey and the least expensiver ones are usually the least-quantity (in short: hindi nakakabusog!). I wanna eat at Main but I have no one to eat my lunch with plus nagtaasan na rin sila ng presyo ng pagkain.

But I have the tendency to but snacks at the SDA caf in between classes so around 100 pesos a week.

Since most days of the week I have classes in the afternoon, I opted to eat lunch at home beforeI go to school. That may mean i only have to spend at least two days worth of lunchmoney, around Php120 a week (it depends if I I wanna eat my lunch at school on Saturdays before my one and only class starts at noon).

My other major food sacrifices would be not buying merienda anymore in Araneta Square except for the occasional 10 peso- Mr. Donut and the seldomly-bought bottled-mineral water from Watsons (Php 16).

Over all, from 500 pesos a week I spend: Php300 on transpo (if I buy stored value, I'd saved Php135), Php420 on food (if I spend 70 pesos a day worth of lunch). What I would lose for the week will be Php220. If it's possible I wanna ask my parents for an increase for my weekly baon.

If that happens, I'd be able to afford to buy a stored value card, and buy pre-heated food from Mini-Stop to mitigate my expensive at the very least.

Photoshop Set: Taft Avenue 2544

This is my proposed logo of a 4-part blog series I'm planning to write. Not really the best since I'm still looking for certain oomphf to make the logo look more attractive.

The planned series will be in 4 installments and it will be published one by one every once in a while. I'm hoping that I'd be able to finish this since I'm bad at continuing my other series that are chapter-driven.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Mystery & Suspense
This is a German movie set in 18th century France (possibly dubbed in English). It stars Ben Whishaw as Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, the young man without a scent of his own but a strong sense of smell. He murders more than a dozen women to attain the perfect scent (Wikipedia). It is based on the novel "Das Parfum" that was written by Patrick Süskind.

I was rather intrigued to the movie's premise: a man who was born with a keen sharp sense of smell and made his life dedicated to search for the perfect scent for him to be appreciated and for the world to know that he exists.

The story starts when a woman gave birth to a still-born child. She left the baby to die in filthy fish market. The heart of the infant started to beat and he made his first cry. The people there discovered the poor baby and when they saw the mother trying to escape, they had her executed for trying to abandon and kill her own son.

He was named Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, he was sent to an orphanage as an infant and during his early childhood years, the children there began to notice something different about the young boy. When he was sold to a tanner by the headmistress of the orphanage, she was mugged and was later killed by thieves.

Well into his young adulthood, he then knew that he possess a certain gift: a very keen sense of smell. So sharp he can actually locate anything and identify it within miles away.

He later became an apprentice to a perfumer when the latter discovered about his disabilities (the tanner was pushed over by a carriage and drowned by the riverside). The perfumer notices that something's wrong with Jean-Baptiste, he began to experiment with various scents of various objects/ living things even.

When he let go of Jean-Baptiste, he died when his house collapsed.

Jean-Baptiste made it his life's work to make the perfect perfume, the perfect scent, thinking that people would finally notice him, love him, and adore him. He ended up working in a flower plantation in a nearby town outside Paris. There, he began to create havoc, killing 12 virgins possessing each a very essential scent. He kills during the day, he slashes them during the night. Women of no particular social order, they are his victims. The townspeople cannot figure out who is responsible for this monstrosity.

Finally, Jean-Baptise was able to perfect his perfume, the outcome of him killing the daughter of a town official. He was arrested, tortured, interrogated. Asked why he killed all those virgins, his only answer "I needed [them]".

On the day of his execution, he showcased the power of the scent and had his perfume smelled by all the people present for his perfume. They became so fascinated with the scent, it triggered an orgasm that left them (even the bishop) fainted and unconscious.

Jean-Baptiste left the town, the townspeople did not remember what happened but executed Jean's last employer who was found guilty based from the buried clothes and hair locks found in his workplace.

He returned to Paris, realizing that people adore him because of his scent, people loved him because of his scent, people finally noticed him because of his scent and it is the scent, not him, that people craved for. He can never love or be loved for that matter. He return to the place of his birth, the fish market, drowsed himself what was left of his perfume. Nearby people smelled a very beautiful odor coming from Jean, thought he was an angel. Soon, he was mobbed, and later devoured. What was left were nothing but his tattered clothes and his now-empty bottle of perfume.
-------------------------------------

Okay, here's my review. After researching about the original novel, I noticed that little was changed for the movie, making it one of the best film adaptations based on a novel. The actors, the cinematography, and the movie itself gave justice to the author's main idea.

It's really fascinating that no matter how weird the circumstances may be, every individual possess a kind of gift that they themselves can only have, in the same way Jean learned about his and the possibilities that he could do with his gift.

Jean-Baptiste may be considered a prodigy, genius who was way ahead of his time yet because he grew in a loveless environment, grew quietly insane for his life mission to be admired.

I noticed that there were a couple of times where there would instances that when killed his first and last victims, he may have felt a sense of attraction (love at first sight?) but because of his very keen sense of smell, it prevented him from showing his true feelings and develop his ability to express love. A pity really. His gift blinded him from the fact that he can never love and be loved if he can never love himself.

He let his gift to take over his well-being than having himself harness his gift in a positive way as he was too afraid, too insecure, and too doubtful to himself. In short he's emo! It took the whisk of a handkerhief filled with his perfume to realize that people are gaga over him because of the scent. Even the macho-looking executioner became gay over his scent! Hahaha!

Because of the impact the movie showed from start to finish, I'll give this one 5 stars!

The CSB Experience 2: Inside The Black Box Studio with Dawn Zulueta

I learned from ate Claire that there will be a live taping of a show from CinemaOne called Inside the Cinema hosted by Boy Abunda. This show is similar to a US show aired previously in 2nd Avenue (now in RJTV-29) called "Inside the Studio". Usually, there'd be a guest whom Boy Abunda will conduct an interview with, regarding his/her cinematic experiences, and what's really great that other than having a studio audience, they will have the opportunity to participate in the show by asking them questions.

The show taped 2 episodes last Thursday inside the Black Box Studio, at the 6th floor of the School of Design and Arts Bldg. Popular actress Dawn Zulueta is a guest for the 1st episode taped and the 2nd is veteran actress Anita Linda. I didn't know then who would be Boy Abunda's guest that time but I thought I should check it out since as an MMA student, I felt I should take the opportunity to learn how a show is made.

The Dawn episode was supposed to start at 2:30 pm so since I don't have class then until 4:20, I went to the 6th floor to watch it. It's my first time to be there since SDA is a really huge place to begin with. there's still a lot of areas inside that I haven't been in. Anyway, the actual taping started around 4 but I have to leave early because of I have my midterms for my last class back in Main.

Mr. Boy was already there by 3, he was wearing plain blue shirt, chekcered shorts and a pair of slippers to go with it. He was given instructions from the director on how the should should commence. What I like about his proefssionalism that, he is never afraid to give suggestions on what should be done. As he read the script, he asked if he could make changes in the introduction, citing that it'll take too long of an intro to welcome his guests. Later he was introduced with the SDA dean and some prominent people from the SDA community as well as well-known cinema perosnalities like Aureaus Solito of "Endo" and "Maximo Oliveros" fame.

I came back to the studio around past 5 (I finished early on my midterms so I could leave right away) and Dawn was already there, right in the middle of taping. I guess I'm in the nick of time as I was able to get a good seat to watch the show from where I was sitting at. Boy showed Dawn clips of her past movies like "Buhay ng Buhay Ko", "Una Kang Naging Akin", "Maggie De la Riva Story", and of course, among others "Patayin Mo Sa Sindak si Barbara". Questions from Boy ranged from her early experiences to her relationship with Richard Gomez, to her future aspirations in the industry to her current role as a wife to her husband and as a mother to her son.

I found Ms. Dawn very entertaining, no clear traces of DIVA-eeshness can ever be found in her body, just her plain wholesome self. She was never afraid to answer straight forward questions and even gave advice to SDA students that we should go further to make our country the best in cinematic excellence among others.

And yup, Boy asked members of the audience if they have any questions to ask and there were a lot of them. I wanna ask something too but don't know what to. Froma piece of apaper, I wrote several questions but in the end, I didn't use them. Then the time for me to ask Dawn Zulueta came and what I had in mind was this : " You are one of the brightest stars in your generation as well as one of the best actresses [around]...if given the choice, would you wanna be a star or an actress?" (More or less something like that). A provocative question it is, Dawn simply said "I'm already an actress so [gusto ko na lang maging star]".

Boy took this into consideration and he asked that question to me. I answered "I want to be an actor than be a star because it doesn't matter to me if I don't have the most endorsement [deals], ...but what matters is that (more or less) the recognition that I receive as I want to hone my craft".

Taping for the first episode wrapped up past six, Anita Linda was already there. i took the opportunity to ask Ms. Dawn and Boy Abunda for their autographs. They're really nice people in person and I can't believe that something like this really happened. Guess I'm very lucky that day (a complete turnaround from what happened exactly a week before).

I really can't tell more unless you watch these episodes for yourselves. So I'll try to know when they will be airing them so stay tuned to CinemaOne: Ang Buhay Natin, Parang Sine.  :):):)

The CSB Experience 2: Emo No Longer After One Week

Grabeh, blogging help me cope with the stresses at college life may bring, especially when I had my biggest personal crisis in Benilde. Brr..I'm obliged not to tell the entire details but all I can say is that I can safely say that it is all over. Sooner after, my luck had turned for the better: 1)My preparation for our Philien report was not really a total waste since we are to have it reported by next Tuesday, more than 2 weeks after I was easy to already done with the Powerpoint presentation and everything, 2) I can feel that my midterms are very easy, 3) Maria Makiling Vs Henry Sy is a good a version of the popular legend. And to cap things off are two things but for now I'll just focus on one.

Just late this afternoon, I caught up with my old grade school buddy, Michael (del Mundo). I was gonna buy my godchild a gift for her birthday in Ever Gotesco Grand Central's department store. I invited him to come along so I have someone to accompany me with as I browse for items. We haven't directly talk to each other in the face for a long long time.

So we talked about things of our interests which i haven't talked about with my friends in Benilde. Michael and I had a lot in common since we knew each other ever since we were in Kinder. Even along the way home, we still kept on talking on stuff. I just discovered that he's also a fellow Brewster thus the Bobonic Plague has already become an epidemic in the radio community. Hehehe.
