Sitti in the Mix: The Dense Modesto Remixes is the first remix album of Philippine bossa nova singer Sitti. Instead of a bossa nova sound, Sitti collaborated with Myx Philippines DJ Dense Modesto to make her songs into dance tracks.
From me:
I like the way the songs were remixed. The beat is very catchy and danceable. Most of the songs are upbeat and exciting while others are mellow yet the beat's still there. There are also interludes in between some songs. It amkes a good transition from one song to another.
Have I mentioned that the tracks play nonstop without the listener knowing it? Just like in track 1-Ipanema Drums, the drums played as if there are actually drums, by the time it gets to Track 2, the drumbeat changes into techy-beats.
It continues to do so until the end. The Cd's run ends with an outro of a guiatr playing continously until it finally ends.
