Anyway, a few days ago I got a call from the Samsung Service Center in Greenhills, telling about their assessment on the damage taken by my F770 phone. I was surprised when they told of their over-all estimated cost for fixing my phone: a whopping PHP9,733.00. Eh para ko na rin binili ang cellphone ko since i bought my phone more or less around the same price as it would take to have it fixed.
My mom learned about it and said that I should pull0out my job order so she could buy me a new one. Geez, what a way of ending a year of using that F770. Huhuhu
Well anyway, since I know now how to get myself to Greenhills, let me telll you about my explorations to the Ortigas area after I got my phone back.
Well, I walked passed MRT Ortigas station and eventually ended up in SM Megamall. I was going to this place but somehow I got lost while in Megamall. Eventually I got out and found myself walking along St. Francis Square.
walked across the parking lot beside it and The Podium towards ADB Avenue. I turned left and was looking for a street called Opal. While there, a hustler was trying to selll me a rolex. Walk across ADB and got into Opal.
Opal Road is virtually deserted, no sign of life except maybe for a few passers-by. After Opal, I went to Ortigas Park. The long walking took a toll on my legs and feet so I decided to take a rest on one of the benches there. Ooh, was that relaxing!
Ten minutes later, I left the park and ended up in F. Ortigas. The first building I saw there was the Strata Building which houses DZOE-TV a.k.a. QTV-11 as well as Jam 88.3. Walked to my left and saw what I was looking for: Jollibee Plaza!
Ha! What a relief! It's not everyday you get to do these things everyday, you know. i went inside, then left and walked on my way back to the MRT station.
