CALLING MAYOR SHERWIN GATCHALIAN AND 1st DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE REX GATCHALIAN, KAILANGAN NG TULONG NIYO ANG MGA MAMAMAYAN NG ARKONG BATO!!

Mga BUWISET!

Ang Malas sa Payong

Kahit umulan man o umaraw
Payong ko'y iyong maaasahan
Di ka na mababasa nang ulan
Di ka na mababasa nang ulan

Kahit ang bagyo ay kakayanin
Huwag kang lalayo sa akin
Di ka na mababasa nang ulan
Di ka na mababasa nang ulan

Di na, di na, hinde, hinde, hinde
Mababasa nang ulan
Di na, di na, hinde, hinde, hinde

The third in a series of "frustrated blogs" I've been doing since yesterday. This one's about my thing with umbrellas...

Ellah...ellah...eh..eh...

I think I have some sort of curse when it comes to umbrellas...I don't know. Misfortune, yes, but too much of it? Weird...

Lately I've been noticing a pattern whenever I bring an umbrella when going to school and whenever I don't bring one. On days that I do bring an umbrella, there's no rain showering over the city, or at least when I'm out commuting. That even if I know that the weather on those days would show signs of heavy rain due to the formation of cumulo-nimbus clouds, you know, "makulimlim na kalangitan"?

However, on days when I don't bring an umbrella because of promising looking skies, most often I've been deceived by such looks. I ended up getting wet and....getting wet. Yes.

Just last Saturday, I started my day deciding whether or not should I bring an umbrella. I brought one the day before but not a single drop of rain fell. I ended up not bringing one. I left Valenzuela with skies clear as blue. By day's end, it rained and upon leaving the LRT, I could see the sky as dark as some thug's dark underarm. None of the my fellow commuters dared to go outside in Avenida Rizal and wait til the traffic signs goes red. I took the risk, went out and just as the red light turned on (on the vehicles' side at least), i walked across in front of Victory Central Mall really fast.

Come with the misfortune of not having an umbrella is the misfortune of not having to wear shoes and instead wear sandals which I've been wearing for the past week. I had my shoes washed because a household lizard pooped on one of them.I was already running along Samson Road en route to the jeepney terminal in McArthur Highway when i slipped somewhere in front of Mang Inasal restaurant, almost fell to the ground, my big toe on my right foot got wounded and there's blood coming out from the wound.I hurriedly ran for dry land somewhere along the facade of a seemingly unused yet rented Ever Gotesco Grand Central building before going out again in the rain.

The moment I came home in Valenzuela, the rain there had since stopped and thank goodness it did because I don't know what to do. I don't even want to take a tricycle ride because I wanna save money.

I hate myself right now. Just today I brought, once again, an umbrella to school and it didn't rain, or at least it didn't rain while I was commuting earlier to and from school. Grrr.....!!

Tagihawat Kahit Saan

Ahhh! I hate it and surely not loving it. I thought that it is all over but I realized that even at 18, I still get to experience the horrors of puberty: PIMPLES!

The only thing good about me having pimple is that I don't had a pimple breakout when I entered puberty, as in having swarms of "boils" popping all around my face. They usually appear on 3-4 areas of my face: the forehead, the nose, the area around the lips, and chin. In rare occasions do I get two-three developing pimples in one place and/or have one in the making somewhere in the pisngi.

The area with the most pimples appeared on my face would be my nose, followed by my chin. Seriously, it's better to have one the latter than on the former. Other than being irritatingly bloated and itchy while still in red, having a pimple on the nose is a major capital sin, a big no-no in school for the mere reason of being the most exposed facial part seen and noticed by many.

What's worse maybe is that it would look like a big booger attached to my nose when it is in its yellowed state. Eewww....

Just sure hope the one I have now would disappear as soon as possible before the big day on the 18th!

The Doggie-Poo

[Note: Wow, I can't believe my name was called out on the air!]

[Warning: This is a gross post.

I hate the sight of dog manure in the morning...Grrr...

Every morning I have to wake-up as early as 6, go downstairs, turn on the faucet attached to the hose and wash the doggie-poos scattered around the driveway. I even classified them into several types: 1)De-Solid and 2)De-Liquid a.k.a. Diarrhea. (Yeah I know, I'm grossed out too but i want to let this frustration out!)

There ought to be a barangay ordinance concerning proper care for dogs owned by the residents and have them trained to poop or pee on more suitable places rather than placing nature's glory on someone's driveway or even right in the front porch!

The CSB Experience 2: He's on TV Rin?

I thought at first he's just a local singer featured on TV once who happens to be one of my classmates in one of my classes but turns out that he's more than that.

Just a few hours ago, I happened to be in Malabon to do this errand for my dad. While waiting for the errand to do its job I stayed in my uncle's house in the Sibucao Compound in Baritan/Concepcion. He let me watch TV but the saddest thing happened: The TV won't start after 14 years of existence and continuous use. So his neighbor let me watch TV at her place.

She got Global Destiny Cable so I was able to switch and search between channels just so I know what good stuff they have. Unfortunately there's no Hero TV, Velvet, Myx, and Animax but they do have Jack TV and C/S Origin!

I stumbled upon this show on IBC-13 which airs Sundays at 11 am. It's called AM@IBC, a Filipino-Chinese lifestyle magazine show. I was surprised to see a veeeery familiar face, and when he introduced himself during the show's opening sequence, I was right: IT IS HIM!!

Wow to think, right? I really can't believe it although I know the show's existence years before (itused to air on an earlier timeslot followed by a music video show before "Sunday Mall Show").

Now if only IBC could have its signal improved just like how RPN did to theirs.

"What is Lost is Now Found"

Nagkakilala kami nung nasa Amerika pa ako, June 2001.

Naging Ju-On si Hitler kumbaga.

Salamat!
