Na-Pikon

I wasn't really serious about my YM stats "I'll be blogging about you". But circumstances led me to write down one anyway.

Just around 10PM, I sent a PM to one of my old grade school friends to remind him about two of our friends' having their birthdays coming up later this month. At first we were all laughing until I made a supposedly funny remark on his profile pic.

I only said "Ano ba naman yang profile pic mo?! :D :))" (Note that I put en emoticon to emphasize that I was only kidding). I just don't know what happened suddenly he replied on a somehow not-so-friendly manner.

"wtf do you care?" or so he said on YM.

Fearing he may have misunderstood what I just wrote, I said to him that what I said was meant as an innocent joke. So why being such a bad sport, I asked myself about him.

So to make him feel better, I lied to him and said I greeted him and many of our former classmates in grade school when I guested on a radio show a week ago. He's only reply..."So?". I'm not sure though but I think I sent him a PM on that day inviting him to listen to the show I was guesting. Just so to forget about the mess, I made him believe that I did greeted him on-air. He didn't replied afterwards and went offline since then.

Bad sport! Oh well, just so to believe that I did even if I didn't, I'm planning on sending him e-mailed pictures of me during my stay in DZMM, just so he would realized that what I said were actually true, or at least half it is true.

I think in YM, one should know the difference of what's an insult and what's an innocent joke, especially when one is trying to clarify that it is a joke and that he had no intentions of hurting anybody.

If all else fails, I just send him a simple PM saying "I'm sorry" if I did hurt his feelings.
