The CSB Experience 2: Held Back (The Jamer Connection)

Last night, I was supposed to start enlisting my subjects for next term right in the comfort of my home. But something went wrong....really, really, REALLY wrong!

When I clicked on "Enlistment" on the Student Info System website, it went directly to the "Clearance" webpage and it says there I have a pending requirement that needs to be met at the soonest time possible. That means I have to go to school on a classless Wednesday, AGAIN! Arghhh...And I thought this Wednesday would be different than the past Wednesdays I had for the first half of the term.

Aghhhh....!

So I left for school around 11:30 am and arrived in CSB at 12:40. According to the SIS, I should go to Window 18 of the school registrar but it's closed for lunch. In the meantime, I stayed at the LRC to read some newspapers, periodicals I haven't read for the longest time like Manila Standard Today, Manila Bulletin, and Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Just wehn I was about to leave to get some grub, I chaned upon Calayag (Okay, that his surname. his first name is Francis but I'm more fond of calling him by his surname)! Him and I are batchmates from high school. he aksed me if I was able to enlist and said to him that I can't. He aksed if it was something about the transcript and I said "yeah!". He told me that I'm not the only one with this particular type of problem, but it's also the problem of our other batchmatesm like Maan, and Carol.

Sometime around 1:30, I went back to the registrar area and there was alreadyn a line forming out from Window 18, comprising of students eagerly awaiting the return of the registrar people from their lunchbreak. I so happened to be lined behind Maan, who's pursuing BS-HRIM. I shared to her my dilemma and so we lined up together to wait in line. Eventually, Calayag joined in.

It took more than hour, about a quarter hour before 3 when it was my turn in line, I had my ID surrendered and I have to wait for a few more minutes for processing time. The guy at Window 18 told me that my Form-something-something a.k.a. my transcript is being withheld by my old alma mater, Saint James Academy. They've already called the school several times since February but no one from SJA took care over the matter. The result: Quite a number of us fromSJA who are in CSB cannot enroll for next term.

So the guy gave me an envelope addressed to SJA's Registrar/Principal. This should urged them to give CSB what it wants or else, it's the affected alumni who'll get the boot.
