The CSB Experience 2: The CSB Halloween Special Year 2

Aha! It's the 31st of October and it's that time again of the year were spooks, witches and ghouls rule the land: Halloween. As always, I'm quite amazed if not surprised on how the students here in CSB celebrate this very important occasion.

Given though that today is a half-day in preparation for the upcoming All Saint's Day holiday, there weren't much people in the SDA today. But as few as they are, they still come to school in gothic Halloween fashion. I see some girls wearing dark make-up and whiteb foundation, some wearing extra-gothic costumes, and while others were wearing pumpkin hats, witch hats, and other Halloween-ish headbands in the for of red and black horns (It'd be extra cool if you wear glowing red horns). Have I mentioned that the school goths were extra-gothic today?

I remember last year (The DV1 Halloween Special), some of my blockmates were wearing costumes in lieu with the occasion, one was wearing a trench-coat, another wore a red horny head band, the other was wearing a "Cat in a Hat" hat, black gloves, shades with light bulbs and long dark scarfs.

It was also that time when I first met Dione, a friend of Alyssa and company. She's one of CSB's resident goths (people/mostly girls, clad in black dresses and boots, make-up etc.). I remember seeing her at the CSB Caf in Main wearing a large pair of black wings. She was really, really nice. Today we would often bump each other every now and then, usually at the SDA Caf.

For the occasion, she was in her usual goth gal clothes with the addition of a one-half of a pair of black horn band. The other half being worn by a friend of hers.

Also at the Caf I saw also quite a number of people wearing black, and no they're not emo. Probably they wanna dress for the occasion but don't have the budget to really clad themselves in true "Old Hallow's Eve" fashion. Like this guy I know who wore a long-sleeved black shirt, and a freshman whom I caught wearing a black-not-so-emo t-shirt.

If today marks the day of the Undead, then tomorrow and Sunday would be the days of the Saint's and Souls.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
